Dear Rising Senior of the OHS Class of 2013

Dear Rising Senior of the OHS Class of 2013----

Congratulations upon making it to your final and surely most exciting year in high school! Summer is nearly here and it’s time to start thinking about having your Senior Portrait made. Senior Portraits are needed for your place in the 2013 Owl Yearbook, but they are also necessary for job and college applications as well as for giving to family and friends. This letter is intended to answer many of the most frequently asked questions about Senior Portraits and to avoid any misunderstandings and confusion.

You will soon be receiving a letter at your home from Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch. You must have your portrait made by Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch to be included in the OHS Yearbook because Lifetouch has a photo contract with the county schools. We cannot include portraits made at other studios in the yearbook or on the large composite photo hung in the school lobby.

We encourage you to make an appointment during the weeks of summer before school starts. You will be rested, tanned, and have more time for your sitting. If a summer appointment is not possible, you must have your portrait sitting before November 2, 2012 in order to be included in the 2013 Yearbook. We must have photos completed by that date in order to meet our deadline.

You may choose to have an assortment of candids and/or a cap and gown photo made at the time of your portrait, but the OHS Yearbook needs only your formal portrait. You do NOT have to purchase any photos to be in the Yearbook, but you will have to pay a minimum $25 sitting fee. Your formal portrait will also be featured on your school transcript and school ID card.

You may, if you wish, choose the pose you prefer for the yearbook. We will try to honor your request if at all possible, but our choice will be an upright posture with blue background and no hands or props visible. If you do not request a pose on your proofs, the lab will pick a pose for you. You will be able to view your proofs at the website prestigeportraits.com using your order number.

The Prestige Portraits by Lifetouch Studio is conveniently located at 6228 Perimeter Drive beside the Pool Place. This is behind the big shopping center at the intersection of Highway 153 and Lee Highway in Chattanooga.

Call them at 892-0888 and make your appointment ASAP.
Have a great summer—we’ll see you in the fall!
